30 Post In!!! I Think Im Big Meech!!
Wow i never thought i would of kept up with this blogging thing for this long and look now I'm 30 post deep (31 after this one) but how you like me now Jive? first think i wanna do is thank the few people that do follow my blog and support me and my thoughts it kept me going and moving forward. I'm going to continue giving you food for thought until we hit the big 50! High Life Forever ya diggg! *Side Note* today my little sister asked me who was Big Meech and Larry Hoover...... i was kind of surprised and not surprised but i had to explain Larry Hoover is or was the leader of Chicago's Gangster Disciples Gang and Big Meech is the head of B.M.F (Black Mafia Family) and both are in Prisons for most likely the rest of their lives for drugs and murder. So that just shows all these little kids running around screaming that there Big Meech not even Knowing who he was or what he did. Parents Raise your Kids and drop some knowledge on them.
Media: The Real Problem
The Notorious B.I.G and Tupac Shakur murders are still unsolved but leading up to there deaths the media had a big part in making it seem more serious then it was. I have seen interviews with both Biggie and Pac down playing it and saying the media were blowing things out of proportion. I brought this up because Young Jeezy released a song called “Death Before Dishonor” (B.M.F. Freestyle) where he had a line saying “How you Blowin’ Money Fast?/ You don’t know the crew/ Oh, you part of the fam?/ Shit I never knew.”, Rick Ross has a hit song called B.M.F on his album claiming to be Gangster Disciples leader Larry Hoover and B.M.F boss Big Meech. Blogging websites started going crazy saying it was a Rick Ross diss. To me it wasn't a diss it was for anybody and Jezzy could say it because he was affiliated with the actual B.M.F. Basically The media is trying hard to start something between these two artist and its not cool because while there getting traffic from people going to there sites to listen to the "Diss" this could turn into something bigger. I don't know these artist personally but the Writer for Don Diva Magazine that first broke the story that Rick Ross was a Correction Officer got murdered on the highway, and Jezzy openly put out a hit on Gucci Mane a couple years ago. And right now the media is reaching with this so called diss which was really ONE line and NO names was said. Hopefully these artist see whats really going on.

New Music: Rick Ross feat. Jay-Z “Free Mason” (CDQ)
New Music: Rick Ross feat. Jay-Z “Free Mason” (CDQ)
Rick Ross is slowly moving into my top 5 MCs, i don't care if he is a C.O or a fraud his word play is superb and he holds his own on this track with Jay z. Hova also attempts to clear up the Illuminati and free Mason rumors that took over the Internet. Does this help the conspiracy theorists get off his back? i doubt it but he sounds like hes fed up with it all so if it was a publicity stunt then it backfired. Anyway the song is great and Ross album Teflon Don is looking CLASSIC.

Scarred
No not the MTV show about skate boarders busting there heads till the white meat show (pause) but hurt people not trusting anymore. I admit I'm one of those people. I got issues. But i admit it. I don't hate women nor am i on the hunt to hurt every girl i meet, even tho hurt people hurt people that's just not my thing. Its just a bad cycle where girls don't trust guys and guys don't trust girls so they don't trust no one or keep somebody on the side to protect themselves and its all fucked up. One of my friends said she wants me to be happy in a committed relationship.........i am happy where I'm at. The old me would of rushed into something and forced a relationship but I'm 22 i get my own money I'm just living. Now if the right person comes along i think I'm going to tell because you meet so many wrongs i think when Mrs right comes your gonna know until then I'm sipping champagne slowly instead of busting down a shot.

In My LifeTime Update#1
Was goodie people trying to get back on my blogging so I'm gonna hit y'all with some updates, words of wisdom, and knowledge from me and passed on to me. Okay quick BET awards rundown it was okay, Average, nothing new. I didn't really care for any of the performers accept for Kanye West everybody else was just average. The Chris Brown MJ Tribute was good but the best ever? get back to me on that one and his moon walk was kinda ashy but him crying was to much he should of pulled himself together and finished the song man up Chris, and i never was a prince fan so i couldn't relate but Patti labelle killed it, and for some reason i felt like they didn't give out that much awards but anyway BET step your game up. The NBA season is looking extra crazy this year lets see what happens after 12AM tonight. Hopefully the knicks go into the season with some good players. As for me my spirits have been slowly rising things are looking up i finally got some health insurance and I'm trying to set up a trip for Atlantic City for my birthday never been there before but i Bet its going to be fun lol (no pun intended) .....iight it was lol. Didn't get a tattoo because i didn't know what to get unlike some people who get a whole lot of bullshit done end so tattoo # 10 is going have to wait till i think of somthing wavy.
Side Note* BET show The Game is coming back because of fans watching the re-runs over and over so that's good news but i wish the same thing happened for MY Wife And Kids *Jordan Shrugs*

Thank Me later Album Review.....
I know I'm a little late with it but i had to not just listen to the album but LISTEN to the album. Drake finally released his first LP and did he live up to the hype.....Not all the way. The 14 track album is like a strong 7 out of 10. It just isn't a classic album like a Reasonable Doubt or Get Rich Or Die Trying. Thank Me Later isn't bad at all its a good album BUT its like a weaker So Far Gone instead of a ground breaking LP with some tracks sounding just like tracks from the mixtape/EP. Drake has some gems on the album like The Resistance where he raps "Bout to roll me a blunt with my list of regrets/ Burn it all, burn it all, I’m starting it fresh" and Light Up where Jay Z out shines him but Drake holds his own next to the king of rap. The album does has its draw backs like Cece's Interlude which is like Bria's Interlude and i thought he would of went hard on Thank Me Now but its average at best. Drake does his best sade impersonation on a song called Karaoke a nice relaxing track to ride out to. Overall Thank Me Later is good with some good guest appearances and production wise its good most done from his producer "40" but the album falls short of the hype.

Its Me. Its Personal
I haven't been writing to much lately just been on some soul searching. I feel like Karma is coming back to me but what else can i do but man up and take it. I'm not perfect by any means and i make mistakes so all i have to do is change to make things better, easy right?. I don't let a lot of people know but i go through a lot it may not seem like it but i do and i try my best to handle it with out putting to much of a burden on anyone. Now i am not complaining because like rapper Joe Budden said "There dudes with problems i couldn't imagine me having/ But if i was to have them i couldn't fathom me lasting" i take those words and remind myself everyday that it could be worse but sometimes i do sit there and ask why me? *Kanye shrugs*

Rick = Great MC
Since Rick Ross has been exposed as being a Corrections officer people have been looking at that instead of the music. Overall Rick Ross is a GREAT MC. I hardly use that word because there are not too many MCs in Hip Hop anymore but Ross is one of a kind. The way he put words together is unmatchable. Beat selection wise he picks beats that compliment his whole persona. He makes ballroom/Night club/ Grown and sexy music to the point it feels like your in a air conditioned Maybach driving around miami yourself. People don't see that though, all they see is a cop. Now unless you know him personally and he lied to you i don't think you should care what his past was, Newsflash most rappers lie or exaggerate at some point and if you think your favorite rapper still flipping ki's like there saying in there raps then your du-rag is to tight. My point is worry about the music because if u actually listen of course he isn't raw like biggie (that's for another post) but you will hear gems like "Vacation to Haiti/ It nearly broke my heart/ Seein kids starve/I thought about my Audemar/ Sellin dope ain't right/I put it in my life/Chickens put me in position to donate the rice". Enough said.

Come Home King James
Free agency is approaching and Lebron James is the #1 free agent that every team wants. And why wouldn't they? he is arguably the top player in the world averaging close to a triple double every game. King James has a number of options starting with the Chicago Bulls where he can be paired with some established players and rising superstar Derrick Rose, The New Jersey Nets, Miami Heat with Dwayne Wade and the New York Knicks who have enough money to get him and another superstar to help the king get a ring. Or he can stay in his hometown and get a max contract. I cant stress the fact that The Knicks NEED Lebron and not the other way around but he will be a global Icon if he chooses the them. But I made a video to show how live the garden gets and there meant to be together. I can see the Fake Knick fans coming out of the wood work acting like they were supportive from the jump. DO me a favor and stay on that side of the fence.
