Media: The Real Problem

The Notorious B.I.G and Tupac Shakur murders are still unsolved but leading up to there deaths the media had a big part in making it seem more serious then it was. I have seen interviews with both Biggie and Pac down playing it and saying the media were blowing things out of proportion. I brought this up because Young Jeezy released a song called “Death Before Dishonor” (B.M.F. Freestyle) where he had a line saying “How you Blowin’ Money Fast?/ You don’t know the crew/ Oh, you part of the fam?/ Shit I never knew.”, Rick Ross has a hit song called B.M.F on his album claiming to be Gangster Disciples leader Larry Hoover and B.M.F boss Big Meech. Blogging websites started going crazy saying it was a Rick Ross diss. To me it wasn't a diss it was for anybody and Jezzy could say it because he was affiliated with the actual B.M.F. Basically The media is trying hard to start something between these two artist and its not cool because while there getting traffic from people going to there sites to listen to the "Diss" this could turn into something bigger. I don't know these artist personally but the Writer for Don Diva Magazine that first broke the story that Rick Ross was a Correction Officer got murdered on the highway, and Jezzy openly put out a hit on Gucci Mane a couple years ago. And right now the media is reaching with this so called diss which was really ONE line and NO names was said. Hopefully these artist see whats really going on.
